97% percent of U.S. brewers are craft brewers

The U.S. now boasts 2,126 breweries—an increase of 350 additional breweries since June 2011. The Brewers Association also tracks breweries in planning as an indicator of potential new entrants into the craft category, and lists 1,252 breweries in planning today compared to 725 a year ago.

If you are reading this then pat yourself on the back for contributing to the change of the world.
Being a craft beer lover means you like what you prefer and not what is given to you. Now we can apply these changes to our social and governing systems!

According to Chris O`Brien, author of Fermenting Revolution: How to Drink Beer and Save the World (I highly recommend the read!), craft brewers—often called microbrewers—provide good examples of positive business practices.
"Small breweries are perfect examples of community-based, socially and environmentally concerned small businesses," O`Brien said. "And they are doing it without any road map, without any top-down legislative pressure or external customer demands."
"I hold the craft-brewing movement up as an example of a grassroots-led sustainability phenomenon," O`Brien explained. "It`s saving the world because it`s taking back all of the things we lost through corporate industrialization, corporate-led globalization."

Brewers Association's definition of Craft Brewer helps weed out the difference between us small beans and the bigger roots out there.

"Craft beer isn`t forced on anyone, it`s a response to people who want something better."

Drinking, making and sharing beer is helping the revolution of our time. Like a spiritual awakening, we all remember the time we were first introduced to the deep, moving complexities of the craft brewing world. Someone we knew opened a mysterious back door to our brains, a progressive want for change forced us to purchase one of those rather expensive, fancy decorated 22oz bottles, at no point have we looked back, simply because we are facing forward. Drunk in a garden of understanding, we have no wants to return into the darkness of brand control where subconscious wizards suggest what is best. Although we'll sip at the rim of big money, they can feel our pressure, the masses are slowly deciding the fate of our world instead of a select few.

They can control the all the money, let us control our lives.
